Pay

$30.75 - $35.07 - $39.40 per hour. Bonuses include skillset training to earn an additional $1.00 per hour during your first year, a $2000 sign-on bonus, and a $1500 referral bonus.

Schedule

  • Day Shift: 2-2-3 schedule, 5 am - 5 pm (Non-Swing Shift)
  • Night Shift: 2-2-3 schedule, 5 pm - 5 am (Non-Swing Shift)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventative maintenance on downstream equipment.
  • Ensure downstream equipment is ready for production as scheduled.
  • Follow all safety, food safety, and consumer safety policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Maintain a safe work area, including all bone yards and storage areas.
  • Practice 5S procedures daily in all bone yards and storage areas.
  • Communicate with Operations and Maintenance personnel.
  • Participate in GMP and food safety training.
  • Monitor changeover lists, prepare and inspect equipment for upcoming changeovers.
  • Deliver downstream equipment to production lines on time and ensure proper operation.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, checking oil levels, replacing seal heads, knife blades, seal bar tape, and setting up perforators.
  • Move equipment using pallet jacks or forklifts.
  • Set up equipment for operation, including connecting power, air, water, or other mechanical requirements.
  • Perform daily maintenance checks and repair equipment as needed.
  • Maintain inventory of powered pallet jacks and powered walking lifts.
  • Write maintenance work orders for repairs and parts requests.
  • Keep records of equipment locations.
  • Perform other duties as required by management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Knowledge of Safety Data Sheets, First Aid, and Safety Standards.
  • Operating procedure knowledge is a plus.
  • Previous experience working with equipment.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Understanding of 5S procedures.
  • Detail-oriented.
