Heaven’s Gait Ranch, Inc. is hiring for multiple positions. All positions are open as of May 2026 and remain open until filled.

Program Assistant (Part-Time)

This entry-level position assists with program needs during our busy seasons.

• Lead walking and side walking in lessons
• Equine care tasks
• Facility cleanliness

Pay: $12–13/hr based on experience

Equine Operations Lead

This role requires at least five years of demonstrated experience managing a diverse herd of horses.

• Must be knowledgeable of PATH International standards for Premier Accredited Member Centers or willing to learn them under guidance
• PATH Intl. CTRI or ESMHL certification strongly preferred

Pay: $20–22/hr based on experience

PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor (CTRI) (Part-Time)

We seek a PATH Intl. CTRI to support our mission.

• Competitive compensation based on credentials and teaching experience

Pay: $23–25/hr for part-time instruction

Volunteer Expectations

As a volunteer, you will:

• Respect fellow volunteers, riders, horses, staff, and guests
• Follow directions of instructors and staff at all times
• Prioritize safety for yourself and others
• Respect staff decisions to support program success
• Stay informed of policies and procedures
• Participate in volunteer training
• Use appropriate and positive language
• Focus on the mission and needs of Heaven’s Gait Ranch
• Strive to be a more effective volunteer
• Report any occurrences or concerns to the instructor immediately

Volunteer Dress Code

Volunteers must dress appropriately for equine-assisted activities and therapeutic programs. Inappropriate attire includes:

• Midriff tops, halter tops, spaghetti strap tank tops
• Shirts with offensive words, pictures, or logos

Footwear must be closed-toed and closed-heeled (e.g., boots). No flip-flops, sandals, clogs, or high heels.

All personal details, records, and information provided by riders, staff, guardians, caregivers, case managers, and volunteers are the sole and private property of Heaven’s Gait Ranch, Inc. and must be held in strict confidence.
