Operations Lead
About the role
Nutrien Ag Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead the operations at one of our key locations. This role is responsible for managing a team, overseeing inventory, facilities, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage warehouse and production team
- Order and track inventory of production and equipment parts
- Assist in hiring seasonal staff and supervise all other warehouse staff
- Oversee maintenance, cleanliness, and repairs of facilities and equipment
- Ensure safety and health and environment (SH&E) compliance at the location
- Maintain paperwork and records
- Operate small mobile equipment (forklift, frontend loader, etc.)
- Report any safety concerns to the branch manager
- Assemble customer orders
- Plan and develop policies, procedures, and ensure team adherence
- Blend and load bulk liquid and dry fertilizer, and load/unload bulk liquid and dry products
- Perform any other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 2+ years of leadership experience in agriculture or a combination of education and work experience
- Proficient use of computer programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook
- Forklift experience preferred
- Clean driving record
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- High School diploma or GED
