Ellsworth Corporation, a global, industry-leading distributor of specialty chemicals and equipment and adhesive manufacturer, is seeking a Part-time ePlus Field Inventory Specialist in Mosinee, WI. This is a part-time position for approximately 10 hours a week. Ellsworth Corporation is a family-run company with over 50 years of continuous growth, serving industries such as cell phone, medical device, space/aerospace, and electric vehicle.

About the role

You will monitor and maintain inventory levels at assigned customer locations utilizing Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) software. This includes performing periodic reviews of product lot and shelf-life information to ensure proper inventory rotation using First In, First Out (FIFO) and scrap mitigation.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately perform inventory transactions for lot-controlled and non-lot-controlled inventory following FIFO methods while understanding the difference between Manufacturer and internal lot numbers
  • Validate inbound shipments against pack slips and open receipts; complete processing of receipt VMI and perform put-away in designated customer inventory storage locations
  • Review shelf-life reports and communicate potential issues with team members and/or customers; scrap material out when appropriate and follow customer-specified disposal procedures
  • Perform and reconcile cycle counts to compare VMI inventory to actual inventory on hand
  • Proactively interact with key customer contacts to understand demand fluctuations and potential impact on inventory levels; identify and troubleshoot onsite issues, escalating when necessary
  • Maintain Account Attribute master document for each customer location; edit documents based on changes in the account/location relationship
  • Understand differences between consigned and non-consigned inventory at customer locations

Requirements

  • 2+ years of related industrial experience and/or training
  • High school diploma or equivalency (GED, HSED)
  • Must work well independently and manage own time effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate at various levels internally and externally
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness
  • Balances team and individual responsibilities; good listener
  • Maintains confidentiality while balancing customer-specific requirements
  • Adapts to changes in the work environment
  • Ability to accurately manage inventory transactions at multiple locations as needed
  • Forklift certification may be required
  • Familiarity with VMI software and solutions, including pull-tag and RFID
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Must have reliable access to a personal vehicle for daily use throughout assigned territory
  • Must maintain current automobile insurance that meets Ellsworth policy requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • May require extended periods of walking and standing
  • May require working outdoors depending on customer inventory storage requirements
  • Up to daily travel within the assigned customers
