Epidemiology Pipeline Director (Virology)

About the role

Serve as a scientific expert in virology clinical trials, providing oversight and consultation to management and teams. Collaborate to develop and secure global business opportunities through proposals, bid defenses, and capability presentations. Oversee scientific aspects of study start-up and management, including development and review of key study documents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain expertise in clinical and epidemiological guidelines, research models, and regulatory standards; develop relevant training.
• Enhance organizational capacity by improving scientific processes and integrating technology solutions.
• Contribute to business growth in post-marketing safety and risk management areas.
• Develop scientific publications, presentations, and foster relationships with sponsors and investigators.

Requirements

• Graduate degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, or Public Health; Doctorate preferred.
• Deep knowledge of study designs, especially post-marketing and late-phase studies.
• Familiarity with statistical programming languages (e.g., SAS, R, Python).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to lead scientific initiatives and collaborate effectively across teams.
