Epidemiologist Overview

Culmen International is seeking an Epidemiologist to support work with the Defense Health Agency in Silver Spring, MD. The role involves providing expertise in behavioral health surveillance, epidemiologic research, and population health assessment to support military psychological health initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct epidemiologic analyses of psychological health data
• Monitor behavioral health trends and outcomes
• Develop surveillance methodologies and reporting frameworks
• Evaluate program effectiveness and population-level impacts
• Support research protocol development and study design
• Collaborate on publications and scientific presentations
• Provide subject matter expertise on behavioral health metrics

Qualifications

• PhD in Epidemiology, Public Health, or related field
• Experience in behavioral health surveillance and epidemiologic research
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical software
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
