About the Role
Willow Analysts serve as the primary support contact for the Epic Willow Application. They coordinate issues for their application area, requiring in-depth knowledge of the organization's policies, procedures, quality standards, and business operations. Analysts must be familiar with healthcare Pharmacy Department workflows, regulatory requirements, and patient experiences, as well as understand a wide array of integration points. They assess the urgency and seriousness of calls, act as a liaison between technical staff and customers, and escalate issues appropriately. Depending on operational, business, or project needs, the Willow Analyst may temporarily perform duties outside the defined job description.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Three years of related experience
- Working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures
Qualifications
- Current Epic certification(s) or accreditation in the area of support is preferred; certification in other Epic areas may be considered initially
- If Epic certification in the area of support has not been obtained or has lapsed, it must be achieved within the first 90 days
- Epic certification(s) in the area of support must be kept current, including completing NVT (new version training) and re-certification as required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Additional Epic Certifications, Accreditations, or Badges are preferred but not required
- Analyst level and role-specific qualifications outlined in the Information Technology Analyst Ladder policy
