Epic Willow Analyst - Information Technology (Remote)

About the role

Epic Willow Analysts support the Epic Willow Application.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate issues within their application area.
• Be knowledgeable about the organization's policies, procedures, quality standards, and business operations.
• Familiarize themselves with the Pharmacy Department workflows, regulatory requirements, and patient experiences.
• Understand various integration points within the organization.
• Make decisions about the urgency and seriousness of calls.
• Serve as a liaison between the technical staff and the diverse customer base of the department.
• Escalate issues appropriately to resolve them.
• Perform additional duties as needed based on operational, business, or project requirements.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: Three years of related experience.
• Working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Current Epic certification(s) or accreditation in the area of support is preferred.
• Epic certification(s) in other areas may be considered initially if not obtained or have lapsed.
• Epic certification(s) in the area of support must be achieved within the first 90 days and kept current through NVT (new version training) and re-certification as required.
• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Additional Epic certifications or accreditations and badges are preferred but not required.
• Analyst level and role-specific qualifications are outlined in the Information Technology Analyst Ladder policy.

• Understanding of healthcare organization's Pharmacy Department workflows, regulatory requirements, and patient experiences.
• Ability to make decisions based on issue urgency and seriousness.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Technical knowledge and ability to work with specialized equipment and procedures.
