Epic Trainer

This position is field-based and requires regular travel to various locations as part of your daily responsibilities. About the role

As an Epic Trainer, you will be responsible for the preparation, facilitation, and follow-up of Epic training. This role requires high emotional intelligence to maintain composure and navigate divergent goals and challenging situations. You will serve the Worcester, MA market, specifically Reliant Medical Associates.

This is a full-time position. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any shift during normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Occasional overtime may be necessary based on business needs. Training hours will align with your schedule.

Responsibilities

• Train Epic applications for new hires and provide optimization training as needed
• Conduct in-person and virtual training classes
• Participate in the coordination of the training scheduling process
• Monitor and respond to training service ticket requests
• Support the training team with incoming requests
• Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to facilitate training sessions, take attendance, make learner adjustments, and load training content
• Participate in upgrade and merger and acquisition projects
• Travel to training sites as required
• Serve as a training resource for clinical and operations staff
• Prepare, manage, and maintain training classroom(s)
• Train other applications as required
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent years of work experience
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 3+ years of Epic training experience in a provider practice setting and/or equivalent EHR/provider practice-related training experience
• Experience with computers and Windows-based programs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Teams meetings
• Strong presentation skills
• Ability to work in a high-performing, fast-paced, collaborative environment with limited supervision; must possess a high degree of self-motivation, versatility, and flexibility
• Quick learner, willing to tackle new opportunities and challenges with the capacity to synthesize and articulate complex subject matter so it can be easily understood
• Reliable mode of transportation and a valid driver's license
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel both locally and non-locally to off-site training locations as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems
• Background in training delivery
• Experience with Epic applications

Pay

The hourly pay for this role will range from $29 - $52 per hour based on full-time employment, depending on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.
