Responsibilities
- Manage Epic User Records, security classes, templates, roles, profiles, and access settings.
- Perform user provisioning, modification, deactivation, and access remediation activities.
- Support Epic Hyperspace security across clinical, financial, scheduling, registration, and ancillary applications.
- Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, login, and access-related issues.
- Support security administration across Epic modules such as Cadence, Prelude, Grand Central, Willow, Beaker, HB/PB, HIM, MyChart, and others.
- Conduct root cause analysis for security incidents and access-related production issues.
- Support emergency access, break-glass activities, and elevated-access review processes.
- Perform periodic access reviews and ensure compliance with segregation of duties (SoD) and least-privilege principles.
- Support Epic security audits, compliance reviews, evidence collection, and remediation activities.
- Participate in Epic upgrades, releases, and security validation testing.
- Maintain SOPs, runbooks, security documentation, and knowledge articles.
- Collaborate with IAM, Active Directory, Compliance, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and Epic application teams.
Requirements
Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience in Epic Security Administration and Epic User Administration.
- Hands-on experience with Epic Hyperspace security and production support.
- Deep understanding of security classes, templates, user records, roles, and access controls.
- Experience with RBAC, access governance, least privilege, and SoD controls.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, SSO, MFA, and Identity & Access Management concepts.
- Experience in ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis skills.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, PHI security requirements, and healthcare compliance standards.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Epic Security Coordinator Certification.
- Experience supporting large healthcare provider organizations.
- Exposure to Epic upgrades, implementations, and environment migrations.
- Knowledge of MyChart, Care Everywhere, Bridges, Interconnect, APIs/FHIR, and security-related integrations.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Experience with audit reporting and compliance governance.
Pay
Pay Range Minimum: $82,000 per year
Pay Range Maximum: $138,000 per year
