About the role

The Revenue Cycle Analytics & Project Manager role is part of Divurgent's Revenue Cycle leadership team. This role combines advanced analytics with project leadership to drive operational excellence, financial performance, and continuous improvement across the revenue cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze revenue cycle performance, including denials, payer performance, reimbursement trends, and contract variances
  • Develop dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Utilize Epic reporting tools, Excel, and business intelligence platforms to provide actionable insights
  • Identify trends, root causes, and opportunities to improve financial and operational performance
  • Support revenue modeling, charge reconciliation, and financial analysis initiatives
  • Lead strategic Revenue Cycle initiatives from planning through implementation
  • Develop project plans, timelines, documentation, and executive updates
  • Cross-functional teams across Revenue Cycle, Finance, IT, Clinical Operations, and Payer Relations
  • Maintain alignment with organizational goals
  • Lead operational improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, PDSA, or similar methodologies
  • Partners with stakeholders to redesign workflows that improve efficiency and reduce revenue leakage
  • Support denial reduction, reimbursement optimization, and process standardization efforts
  • Continuously evaluate reporting processes and recommend enhancements to improve operational performance
  • Data & System Optimization
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of operational and financial data
  • Support optimization of Epic reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics platforms
  • Partner with IT to troubleshoot reporting issues and improve system functionality
  • Help drive adoption of data-driven decision making throughout the Revenue Cycle organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of healthcare Revenue Cycle experience
  • 3-5+ years of Revenue Cycle analytics, reporting, and project management experience
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end healthcare revenue cycle operations
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects from planning through execution
  • Experience using Epic reporting tools such as Reporting Workbench and Slicer
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (or willingness to obtain within 12 months)
  • Revenue Cycle certification (CRCR, CHFP, CHAM, or similar)
  • Experience with Epic Clarity reporting
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other business intelligence platforms
  • Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, A3 Problem Solving, or PDSA methodologies
