The Role
Your Mission: As our next Epic Patient Access Applications Manager, you will provide strategic leadership for Xtensys' Epic Patient Access team, driving the direction, optimization, and ongoing success of Epic Patient Access applications. You'll leverage your expertise to enhance workflows, improve the patient experience, and deliver complex projects that support our clients' goals.
In this role, you'll lead and develop a high-performing team, cultivate strong client and vendor partnerships, and champion change management initiatives that align with organizational and business objectives.
What You’ll Do Day-to-Day
- Leverage expertise in Epic applications to optimize workflows, improve patient care, and manage complex projects (Grand Central/Prelude/MyChart/Cadence) and other third-party applications.
- Lead a high-performing team, foster relationships with vendors, and effectively manage change initiatives to align with organizational goals.
- Oversee the strategic direction and management of the Epic Patient Access team.
- Leverage knowledge of Epic Foundation and Epic Patient Access applications to optimize workflows and improve patient care.
- Manage complex projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Foster strong relationships with other Xtensys leaders, customers, and third-party vendors to maximize the value of investments.
- Effectively manage change initiatives, minimizing disruption and maximizing adoption.
- Partners with connect program manager to assist in connect program development.
Who You Are & What You’ll Bring
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Information Technology, Business, Health Administration, Engineering, or a related field; or an Associate’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Certifications: One of the following relevant vendor certifications is preferred: Grand Central, Prelude, MyChart, or Cadence.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success leading the design, development, configuration, support, and adoption of medium to large-scale solutions. Demonstrated success in influencing and supporting operational partners with organizational change management. Demonstrated success in leading the improvement of platforms, standards, and processes. Demonstrated success managing projects within budget, vendors, partners, and/or managed services. Must have 3+ years of leadership experience supporting at least one of the following applications: Grand Central, Prelude, MyChart, or Cadence. 5+ years of experience in Information Systems or Patient Access, including project, product, or solution delivery experience required.

- Travel Requirements: Up to 25% (this includes 'golive' implementations).
