Epic Lumens Analyst - IT Applications

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot low to moderate complexity end-user issues, workflow problems, and enhancement requests for departmental users, associated medical staff, key stakeholders, management and leadership.
  • Contributes to technical and workflow root cause analysis.
  • Analyze business operations as they relate to design decisions and prioritize and implement requested changes to the system.
  • On an as needed basis, performs in-depth analyses of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with the use of integrated applications with minimal assistance.
  • Design, Test, Implement and support files/systems within assigned products and scope with minimal supervision.
  • Populates tables and databases, for a domain with multiple owners, with some assistance from Vendor and Information Technology staff.
  • Collaborates in an integrated approach to eliminate the potential for a negative impact to our customers and patients.
  • Responsible for maintaining set standards of application system build and database maintenance. Including updates to master files, profiles, dictionaries, and other databases.
  • Assists with recommendations for standardized naming, numbering and security conventions.

Qualifications

  • Associates or 2 years' work related experience Degree in Healthcare, Business, Information Systems (IS), Computer Science, or related field Required
  • Bachelors Degree in Healthcare, Business, Information Systems (IS), Computer Science, or related field Preferred
  • Experience: 3 years of Healthcare, consulting, or IT related experience that demonstrates an advanced understanding of the standard tools, workflow processes, and/or procedures and concepts used in the deployment and development of application software necessary to run the healthcare systems business, clinical or financial systems. Required
  • Experience: 5 years of Healthcare, consulting, or IT related experience that demonstrates an advanced understanding of the standard tools, workflow processes, and/or procedures and concepts used in the deployment and development of application software necessary to run the healthcare systems business, clinical or financial systems. Preferred

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Demonstrates the ability to prioritize and manage individual workload with minimal assistance.
  • Collaborates effectively with team members to adjust priorities based on business needs.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to any/all HonorHealth and affiliated sites.
  • Understands and utilizes the IT Project Management toolset for the successful completion of initiatives.
  • Understands and follows established change management procedures for testing, documenting, and communicating system changes.
