About the Role

The Epic Clinical Systems Analyst III ensures that the operational interests of their respective functional areas are fully represented in the day-to-day operations of the Information Systems Department. This role supports the Epic Clinical applications deployed within the Harris Health System.

Responsibilities

• Represent operational interests of functional areas within the Information Systems Department.
• Support Epic Clinical applications deployed within Harris Health System.
• Recommend process improvements based on industry standards and resolve integrated process issues.
• Handle multiple activities simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet overlapping deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an Information Systems / Clinical Informatics related field or 4 years of related IT experience in a Healthcare environment.
• Certification for at least one Epic Clinical Application.
• 5+ years within IT.
• Three (3) years of experience in Hospital Healthcare Organizations Business Analysis.
• Above average verbal communication skills (heavy public contact).
• Exceptional verbal skills (e.g., public speaking).
• Writing and composing skills (correspondence and reports).
• Analytical, design, research, and statistical skills.
• Available to work on-site (after hours) as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience providing hands-on clinical patient care in a hospital or clinic setting.
• At least 1 year of Epic Project and/or Epic Team Lead experience.
• Healthcare Information Technology experience.
• Understanding of the limitations and opportunities presented by the applications supported.
