About the Role
The Epic Clinical Systems Analyst III ensures that the operational interests of their respective functional areas are fully represented in the day-to-day operations of the Information Systems Department. This role supports the Epic Clinical applications deployed within the Harris Health System.
Responsibilities
- Represent operational interests of functional areas within the Information Systems Department.
- Support Epic Clinical applications deployed within Harris Health System.
- Recommend process improvements based on industry standards and resolve integrated process issues.
- Handle multiple activities simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet overlapping deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an Information Systems / Clinical Informatics related field or 4 years of related IT experience in a Healthcare environment.
- Certification for at least one Epic Clinical Application.
- 5+ years within IT.
- Three (3) years of experience in Hospital Healthcare Organizations Business Analysis.
- Above average verbal communication skills (heavy public contact).
- Exceptional verbal skills (e.g., public speaking).
- Writing and composing skills (correspondence and reports).
- Analytical, design, research, and statistical skills.
- Available to work on-site (after hours) as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience providing hands-on clinical patient care in a hospital or clinic setting.
- At least 1 year of Epic Project and/or Epic Team Lead experience.
- Healthcare Information Technology experience.
- Understanding of the limitations and opportunities presented by the applications supported.
