Epic Analyst III - Ambulatory

About the role
This role is responsible for analyzing, designing, configuring, testing, implementing, and supporting Epic solutions that improve clinical workflows, operational efficiency, and patient care outcomes. The analyst will collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to resolve issues, implement enhancements, and support ongoing system optimization.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, implement, support, and maintain Epic applications and related technologies.
- Analyze workflows, business processes, and system requirements to develop effective solutions.
- Collaborate with clinical departments, operational leaders, and end users to identify needs and optimize system performance.
- Perform system analysis, design, build, testing, implementation, documentation, and ongoing support activities.
- Troubleshoot application, workflow, and integration issues and provide timely resolution.
- Evaluate enhancement requests and provide recommendations, resource estimates, and implementation timelines.
- Participate in system upgrades, testing, validation, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Maintain system documentation and ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize project management methodologies and best practices to support successful project delivery.
- Serve as a trusted resource for stakeholders and maintain current knowledge of Epic functionality and healthcare technology trends.
Requirements
- EpicCare Ambulatory certification with at least three years of Epic Ambulatory analyst experience is preferred.
- Three to five years of healthcare information systems application experience is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience supporting Epic applications in an ambulatory or physician practice environment is preferred.
- Experience with Epic implementations, upgrades, optimization, and ongoing operational support is preferred.
Pay
Salaried; Exempt Position
$84,406 - $125,500
