About the role
OCHIN is a nonprofit leader in health care innovation and a trusted partner to a growing national provider network, delivering the clinical insights and tailored technologies needed to expand patient access, strengthen care teams, and improve the health of rural and medically underserved communities.
The Business Intelligence Analyst designs, develops, tests, documents, maintains, and troubleshoots reports in Epic across a broad platform of Business Intelligence tools. This role supports the full lifecycle of projects, particularly the requirements definitions, quality assurance testing, and user acceptance testing phases of projects.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the execution of full reporting lifecycle; from design, development, testing, documentation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Complete work towards closing tickets, including triage, research, and communication with internal and external members.
- Develop and update technical documentation for reporting systems.
- Lead and drive requirement gathering meetings with experts in a variety of fields; defining systems scope and objectives of business requirements, including documentation of requirements (i.e. use cases) and relevant translation into system requirement specifications.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- At least 2-3 years of experience in Health care IT in a similar or relevant role is required
- Experience working in a Healthcare setting supporting Ambulatory Clinic or Acute Care settings is preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience with custom development within Epic Cogito
- Current Epic Cogito certification is required
- Experience working with SQL is required
- A current Epic certification in Clarity Data Model is preferred. If no certification, you must have a minimum of two years of experience in Clarity.
- Experience in working with others to identify, define and analyze end user requirements and timelines designed to meet business needs

- Prior to moving forward to the team interview, all candidates are required to complete a 50–60-minute competency assessment. Pay
Minimum $85,697 to Maximum $137,116
