Business Analyst 3

Job Summary

Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure solutions align with business needs and strategies.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs;
• Formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies;
• Analyze current legacy systems to identify inefficiencies and translate business needs into actionable, technical solutions;
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather and document business requirements;
• Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs);
• Create process maps and use cases to visualize current and future state workflows;
• Manage project scope, negotiate requirement trade-offs, and set expectations regarding timelines and costs;
• Participate in the testing phase by developing test cases and ensuring delivered solutions meet original requirements;
• Serve as the central point of contact for users, technical teams, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle;
• Prepare solution options and conduct risk identification and financial analyses (cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build);
• Utilize business process reengineering and industry-standard process mapping to identify and implement technology improvements;
• Remain engaged until project completion to ensure stakeholder satisfaction with implemented solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in business analysis, requirements documentation, and working with IT teams;
• Strong data analysis experience and familiarity with project management;
• PMP certification is a plus.
