What You Will Do

• Establishes and maintains customer relationships
• Aids in maintenance management and selling parts and services (other than machines)
• Inspects customer equipment and provides proper documentation of undercarriage reports/measurements
• Documents customer contacts and territory management strategy
• Maintains adequate product knowledge of equipment and Allied products
• Researches equipment, parts, or Allied products to meet specialized customer requirements
• Responds to customer inquiries regarding equipment and Allied products in a timely manner
• Supports sales staff demonstrations and sales agreements

What We Expect Of You

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years dealership experience preferred
• Effective communication skills with customers, co-workers, vendors, or managers related to job functions
• Proficiency in providing excellent customer service and representing Thompson Machinery in a professional manner
• Functional ability in using proprietary (i.e. Caterpillar, etc.) software
• Effective communication via email (MS Office 365, CRM, Service Link etc.)
• Valid driver’s license from the State of personal residence and compliance with corporate driving policy

Compensation

Compensation for this position will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and background.
