EPC Preconstruction Manager

About the role

A company dedicated to innovation in construction, engineering, manufacturing, and renewable energy seeks an experienced EPC Preconstruction Manager. As part of a team committed to health and growth, this role involves leading cross-functional teams through various stages of project development, from initial pursuit to post-construction.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates design activities with consultants, subcontractors, and clients
  • Works with the Group Leader of Preconstruction to develop best-in-class Preconstruction services
  • Monitors project progress and engineering, design, and CAD project budgets
  • Develops designs, cost estimates, and value engineering solutions
  • Supports the Project Executive and Project Manager in contract development
  • Coordinates procurement schedules and needs
  • Manages project proposals to clients
  • Provides guidance to project managers during the design phase
  • Transitions control of projects to project managers during construction

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • 10 years of design/build or EPC construction leadership experience or emphasis on MEP coordination

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management and 10 years of relevant experience. Travel is expected to be 15-25%, and the work schedule is typically between 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday.

Skills

Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are essential. Proficiency in project management software and a deep understanding of design/build and EPC processes are also required.

Pay

Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
