About the role
Senior EOSH Specialist supporting the FAA's EOSH Section within a federal airspace system project.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain occupational safety and health programs to ensure compliance with regulations
- Review and update emergency response plans
- Conduct emergency drills
- Perform workplace inspections and audits
- Assess hazards related to chemicals, noise, ergonomics, and environmental impacts
- Investigate accidents and near misses
- Maintain OSHA compliance
- Develop and deliver safety training
- Complete tasks using electronic tracking systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related fields with at least 24 semester hours in safety-related coursework
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in OSHA, NFPA, NEC regulations, air quality investigations, hazard analyses, and safety inspections
- Current certifications such as OSHA 30-hour courses, AHERA Asbestos Inspector preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain FAA Public Trust Suitability
