Environmental Services Technician - Advocate/Atrium Health Cleveland - 3rd Shift Full Time

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complete cleaning of assigned areas, removing waste, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs complete cleaning of assigned areas to include dusting and sanitizing furniture, equipment, mirrors and fixtures, washing windows, walls, ceilings, vents and light fixtures, sweeping, scrubbing and refinishing floors, vacuuming and shampooing carpet, replacing light bulbs, reporting repairs.
• Removes waste by collecting and transporting soiled linen, emptying trash containers, changing sharps containers, transporting solid and hazardous waste to compactors, recycling material, emptying cigarette receptacles in smoking areas.
• Maintains equipment clean and orderly and reports equipment failures or other mechanical issues to maintenance staff.
• Attends all required in-service education and training classes including safety update programs to maintain technical knowledge.
• Consistently demonstrates the ability to meet time schedules and deadlines.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• One year experience preferred.
• Can prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner.
• Can operate equipment.
• Can establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers.

Pay

$18.85 - $28.30 per hour.
