Environmental Services Tech, Part Time Evenings

About the role

The Environmental Services Technician performs a variety of cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the healthcare facility to ensure compliance with infection control standards and regulatory requirements. This position plays a critical role in promoting a healthy and hygienic environment conducive to patient healing and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks in accordance with healthcare facility standards.
• Maintain compliance with infection control and regulatory requirements.
• Follow written and verbal instructions to complete assigned duties.
• Engage in customer service interactions with the public.

Requirements

• Push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Prolonged standing and walking each shift.
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• No prior experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior hospital environmental services experience.
• Experience following written and verbal instructions.
• Previous experience performing manual tasks.
• Prior customer service experience.
