Environmental Services Technician (Part-Time Evenings)

Schedule

Part-Time, 4:00 PM-10:00 PM Wednesday-Friday, 9:00 AM-1:00 PM Saturday

Responsibilities

• Performs general cleaning duties and monitors maintenance conditions.
• Performs routine and maintenance cleaning and disinfection processes in assigned areas (e.g., exam rooms, classrooms, gym, locker rooms, auditorium, offices, cafeteria, restrooms, showers) in adherence to all regulatory and accreditation standards (CMS, Joint Commission, etc.), including:
  • General cleaning and disinfection
  • Hard surface maintenance
  • Floor refurbishing
  • Carpet and upholstery extraction
• Maintains an uncluttered environment; identifies and reports possible safety hazards.
• Secures buildings at the end of the day to ensure security (doors and windows).
• Spot cleans walls, washes windows as needed, and removes waste and litter.
• Utilizes approved chemicals according to manufacturer directions with appropriate PPE.
• Reports safety concerns such as floods, sewer backups, broken water lines, leaks, tripping hazards, equipment malfunctions, environmental concerns, and break/fix issues.
• Completes all required training and competencies as assigned.

• Ability to speak, read, and write basic English.
