Environmental Services Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Performs specific cleaning duties and floor maintenance according to Environmental Services standards and procedures.
• Assists in maintaining the highest possible quality standards in the facility.
• Directs the activities of a small group of EVS employees in performing a particular task.
• Collects and removes trash and bio-hazard waste from the facility.
• Assists in coaching/mentoring EVS personnel as needed.
• Supports the policies and procedures of the department.
• Completes monthly work schedules to ensure appropriate staffing.
• Evaluates cleaning supplies and equipment and recommends changes to the LTC Administrator.
• Maintains supply inventory and orders supplies weekly to ensure availability.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent GED required.
• The incumbent must have the ability to read, write, and communicate verbally and in writing.
