Environmental Services Supervisor Hospital

Overview

The Environmental Services Supervisor oversees the team members' day-to-day operations. They create work schedules, evaluate performance, and resolve employee complaints. This role also ensures the quality of work, productivity, department morale, and compliance with facility and departmental policies.

What You Will Do

• Interviews, selects, and onboards team members.
• Provides training in accordance with RHS policies and aligns with regulatory environments.
• Assists in maintaining a safe patient care environment by complying with standards.
• Conducts daily inspections to ensure quality and infection control measures are met.
• Demonstrates and ensures team understands and responds effectively to suggestions and concerns.
• Organizes work and directs direct reports.
• Ensures employees demonstrate acceptable levels of competence for high-quality work performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year supervisory experience in Housekeeping (preferred).
• 1 year healthcare experience or hospitality housekeeping experience.
• AHA Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP) (preferred).
