Environmental Services Lead
About the role
As our Environmental Services Lead, you will provide critical environmental services and meticulous attention to cleanliness, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Every day, you will expertly clean and disinfect patient rooms, common areas, and high-touch surfaces, manage waste disposal, operate specialized equipment, and meticulously follow infection control protocols to maintain impeccable standards.
Responsibilities
- Consistently completes assigned work on time while meeting quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Provides direction and supervision to Environmental Service Workers.
- Prepares work and shift schedules for department personnel.
- Demonstrates use of cleaning materials and equipment and explains methods of cleaning to staff.
- Observes and reports items and equipment in need of repair to the Supervisor.
- Ensures that necessary supply levels are maintained and makes recommendations as appropriate; ensures that supply and support areas are maintained in a neat and orderly fashion.
Requirements
- Two to three years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hospital setting.
- High School or GED.

$25.00 - $27.30 /hour
