Environmental Services Lead

Responsibilities

• Works closely with the Manager of Environmental Services.
• Performs tasks of moderate difficulty in a variety of supervisory roles to ensure a high standard of cleaning and safety for our customers.
• Handles day-to-day environmental services operational issues.
• Directly supervises 1 to 25 employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable laws.
• Ensures cleaning tech daily work is completed;
• Cleaning of patient rooms, discharges, cleaning of outpatient areas and support rooms or other tasks as assigned.
• Adjusts schedule to accommodate project work being done – hours of day and break times, lifting and moving equipment, exam tables, etc.
• Maintains prolonged kneeling and bending when working on edges and baseboards during project work.
• Cleans equipment used in daily work tasks.

Requirements

• Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English.
• One year of housekeeping experience in a health care facility or environmental services preferred.
