About the Role
Join Trinity Health in Grand Rapids for Environmental Services opportunities. We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team. No previous healthcare housekeeping experience is required—we provide paid on-the-job training.
Available positions include Environmental Services Technician (Level I & II), Housekeeper, Custodian, and Janitor.
Schedule
Full-time and part-time opportunities with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available based on business needs and availability.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning patient rooms, clinical areas, offices, and public spaces
- Performing wall, stairwell, and elevator cleaning
- Completing room turnover and discharge cleaning
- Removing and rehanging curtains
- Responding to service requests throughout the hospital
- Operating floor-care equipment and performing restorative floor care
- Transporting beds throughout the facility
- Using pagers and phone systems to support daily operations

Requirements
- A commitment to treating patients, visitors, and coworkers with courtesy and compassion
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workloads
- Customer service experience or housekeeping/environmental services experience is preferred but not required
- High school diploma or GED is not required
