Environmental Services- Housekeeping

Position Highlights

Environmental services technicians are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our facility with an importance on infection control. Hours are 5am to 1:30pm with a weekend and holiday rotation, offering a weekend differential of an additional $2 an hour. Starting wage is $19 depending on experience.

What You Will Do

• Maintains a clean/neat environment in working area.
• Participates in all cleaning activities as assigned, including dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash.
• Keeps assigned area fully stocked with supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
• Maintains good customer relations at all times.
• May sort, wash, and accurately deliver linens.

Essential Qualifications

• The individual must be able to work the hours specified.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily, including having visual acuity adequate to perform position duties and the ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds.

Preferred Education, License/Certification, Or Work Experience

• A high school or GED equivalent.
• One to three months related experience.
