Job Duties

This position is responsible for maintaining hospital facilities in a clean, sanitary, orderly, and visually appealing condition. The role supports a safe and comfortable environment for patient care and ensures that hospital staff have a well-maintained workspace in which to perform their duties.

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge of effective cleaning methods and procedures, including the proper use of chemicals, equipment, and supplies commonly utilized in a health care environment
• Understanding of safety practices related to housekeeping duties
• Skill in operating both manual and powered cleaning equipment
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to adhere to established schedules
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
• Ability to carry out cleaning and housekeeping responsibilities in patient-occupied areas

Additional Considerations

• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting
