Environmental Services Specialist

Responsibilities

• Performs technical cleaning tasks like mopping and scrubbing floors using appropriate equipment and chemical dilution.
• Stocks paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary.
• Manages carpet and hard surface floor care, including stripping, refinishing, bonnet cleaning, extraction, and polishing.
• Affords assistance with set-ups and other project-related tasks as needed.
• Removes and transports soiled linens, trash, infectious waste, and recycling according to departmental policies.
• Maintains required records and information for all regulatory agencies.
• Executes terminal cleaning of procedural areas to maintain a sterile environment.
• Cleans and sanitizes walls, vents, ledges, and windows according to established procedures.
• Conducts checkout cleaning in patient rooms, including medical equipment, following departmental policies.
• Carries out intensive cleaning in specialty areas such as Emergency Department, Surgery, Interventional Radiology, and Pharmacy to eliminate infection risks.

• Work Experience 1+ related experience [Preferred]
