Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks to keep the clinical area, business office, office of physicians and other health practitioners, and the infusion suite clean and free of debris for our patients, their families, and staff.
  • Cleans and sanitizes all areas including restrooms, patient rooms, and common spaces using established practices, procedures, and approved antimicrobial agents per manufacturer's recommended timeframes.
  • Dusts and wipes all surface areas including furniture, blinds, countertops, doors, and chairs.
  • Sweeps, mops, and vacuums all floor surfaces throughout the facility.
  • Empties and cleans wastebaskets and trash containers; refills restroom dispensers as needed.
  • Washes walls and equipment as required or directed.
  • Handles and disposes of biohazard waste in accordance with proper safety protocols.
  • Follows all instructions regarding the safe use of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
  • Supports and enforces all facility policies, OSHA standards, safety regulations, and guidelines.
  • Completes and maintains accurate cleaning logs; ensures janitorial staff documents cleaning of all required areas.
  • Maintains inventory of patient snacks, including tracking expiration dates, labeling allergen information, and restocking as needed.
  • Keeps all clinic and facility areas neat, clean, and presentable at all times.
  • Responds to cleaning-related emergencies as needed.
  • Attends required staff meetings and participates in mandatory training, including courses on cleaning methods, techniques, and new products.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail, ability to follow directions, and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Performs other related cleaning and facility maintenance duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience with medical office procedures and staff (preferred).

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Able to comprehend and follow directions.
  • Professional communication including the ability to read and follow directions in written and oral format, ability to write detailed notes with job specific instructions, and ability to speak clearly and concisely.

Physical Demands

  • Position requires lifting up to 10 pounds.
  • Carrying small objects short distances, bending, pushing, stooping, reaching and pulling as necessary to perform required tasks.

Health Requirement

Cure 4 The Kids Foundation complies with the Medicare and Medicaid mandatory Covid vaccination requirements. Must be fully vaccinated.
