Environmental Services Specialist
About the role
The Environmental Services Specialist at St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado, plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors in procedural areas.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with patients, visitors, and other staff members.
- Show industry knowledge in the cleaning of specific departments like the Emergency Department, Operating Rooms, and other unique procedural areas.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills; ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Basic computer skills.
- Knowledge and skills in using various cleaning equipment and machines.
- Ability to operate necessary equipment/machines.
- Effectively uses computers and mobile devices.
- Respectfully listens to viewpoints and ideas of others.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a similar role preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay
The posted compensation range for this position is $18.58 - $29.32 per hour, reflecting the lowest to highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
Schedule
This role is available as a PRN (Per Request Notified) team member, working night shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM and every weekend. Shift differentials are provided for night shifts.
Physical Requirements
Medium Work - Exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly.
