Environmental Service Delivery Group Lead

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
• Provides guidance to facility employees in their assigned tasks to ensure operational goals are met in an efficient manner, including shipping and receiving activities
• Trains new employees in Company and department procedures
• Ensures all employees are working in a safe manner with all prescribed safety equipment required by regulations and Company policies and procedures
• Interfaces with other departments and functions to ensure the smooth completion of projects and appropriate task transitions
• Adheres to and ensures facility complies with all employee OSHA requirements, RCRA hazardous waste requirements and DOT hazardous materials compliance
• Ensures compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations
• Makes recommendations as appropriate based on monitoring assigned area equipment to maximize efficiency and cost effectiveness of operations and maintenance
• Manages the quality control and assurance of inbound and outbound materials as necessary
• Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization

Education

• High-school diploma or equivalent (required)

Experience

• 5+ years of experience within a warehouse and environmental services environment (required)
• Previous environmental, health and safety experience (required)
