Environmental Remediation Supervisor
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Remediation Supervisor for our Environmental Construction Department.
Responsibilities
- On-site management of day to day operations on remediation projects
- Avoid projects from deviating from the scope of work and schedule
- Coordinate and perform mobilization/delivery of equipment and materials
- Prepare daily reports for field activities
- Conduct daily safety briefings and ensure compliance with company health and safety policies and OSHA regulations
- Assist Project Managers in development of scope of work, cost estimates and work flow
- Assist in training junior staff
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental contracting with at least 5 years of supervisory experience
- Ability to interact directly with clients and regulatory agencies
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A clean, valid driver license. Commercial Driver License (CDL not required but a plus)
- Knowledgeable in OSHA and DOT regulations
- Willing to travel (regional)
- Ability to operate heavy equipment
- 40 Hour HAZWOER training with annual refreshers
- OSHA 10 Hour construction safety training
- OSHA 30 Hour construction safety training a plus
- Experience with NYSDEC standby contracts a plus
- A degree in Environmental Discipline a plus
Pay
Salary Range: $30 - $40/hour
