Overview
The Environmental Compliance Superintendent supports facility operations by implementing environmental compliance programs, monitoring, recordkeeping, and regulatory reporting. Key responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
- Collect and review operating data for boilers and scrubbers.
- Prepare daily air compliance reports and draft reports for permit notifications.
- Collect fuel samples and compile boiler data for various reports.
- Affiliate with water systems, wastewater management, and waste disposal.
- Conduct compliance inspections and train staff.
- Assist with permitting and project approvals.
Requirements
- Five years of progressively challenging work experience.
- Two years of relevant experience in Florida.
- College degree in engineering, science, or a related field preferred.
- High school diploma required.
Supervisory Responsibility
- Supervise Environmental Technicians.
- Oversee contractors and vendors on environmental projects.
Essential Capabilities
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Team-based environment and task completion within deadlines.
- Database management and Excel proficiency.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, or similar programs.
Location of Role
The position coordinates environmental compliance at the Osceola Farms Co. mill and supports other facilities within the Florida Crystals group of companies.
