Responsibilities

• Completes all tasks associated with air and water permitting, waste management, and environmental compliance
• Works with regulatory agencies to maintain compliance with permit requirements
• Researches, reads, and understands federal, state, and local regulations
• Works with minimal supervision
• Performs facility audits, inspections, and training
• Implements procedures as needed for compliance
• Ensures accurate and timely reporting
• May be responsible for environmental projects at plant location
• Travels to industrial plant locations in the US approximately twice per month
