Facilities Manager
About the role
Manages the maintenance and daily operation of all facilities utilities and infrastructure supporting manufacturing cleanrooms and non-cleanrooms manufacturing areas such as HVAC, chilled water, cooling towers, vacuum pumps, boilers, fans, compressors, purified water systems, wastewater system, building management system (BMS), and others.
Ensures all manufacturing areas meet the environmental and infrastructure requirements to maintain compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manages the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities.
- Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs.
- Designs and develops organizational policies relevant to the facilities department.
- Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services and facilities expansion.
- Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
- Communicates with internal and external customers and vendors regarding ongoing operations.
- Captures and coordinates facilities maintenance shutdowns and utilities upgrades.
- Responds to facilities related emergencies affecting manufacturing areas and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of previous facilities management experience

Benefits & Compensation
MiniMed offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package. For roles located in California, Seattle WA, Washington DC, Boston MA, and New York City, the salary range is $121,000 - $205,000 USD. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, market conditions, internal equity, and geographic location.
