General Information

The South College Marietta Campus is seeking a Facilities Manager to join our team. As part of our mission to provide a diverse and inclusive environment, we welcome applicants who can bring a variety of perspectives and experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the maintenance and repair of all facilities.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to identify any issues that require attention.
  • Perform minor maintenance and repair to building, fixtures, and equipment such as: Drywall repair/paint, Furniture/Equipment Assembly.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment – including the ordering of necessary building supplies when needed.
  • Cook with external contractors and vendors to ensure that work is completed to our standards and on time.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Ensure that all facilities are clean, safe, and compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Provide support to other departments in the organization as needed.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and external contractors.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills
