About the role
A senior-level counsel role advising clients on environmental risk, real estate transactions, and permitting strategy.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on environmental and land use matters, including permitting, zoning, and regulatory compliance
- Navigate local and state approval processes and provide strategic guidance on development-related issues
- Counsel on environmental risks and liabilities in connection with real estate and business transactions
- Support real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development projects
- Provide insight on environmental regulatory frameworks, including matters involving federal and state statutes and agency actions
- Collaborate with attorneys across transactional practices, including corporate and construction-related matters
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in environmental and real estate law
- Strong working knowledge of Massachusetts environmental regulations and permitting processes
- Experience advising on land use, zoning, and regulatory strategy
- Familiarity with environmental risk assessment in transactional contexts
- Background in real estate transactions or development work is a plus
Qualifications

- Admission to the Massachusetts Bar required
