Main Responsibilities
- Building the future of food and well-being
- Providing legal counsel to management and real estate business staff
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating real estate contracts, leases, and other real estate-related legal documents
- Conducting due diligence in connection with real estate acquisitions and dispositions
- Supporting the day-to-day management of owned and leased properties
- Collaborating with other internal teams, including finance, property management, and operations, to support business objectives
- Managing the paralegal functions that support the portfolio to which you are assigned
- Supervising outside counsel and overseeing outside counsel work to ensure delivery of high quality, cost-effective legal services
- Supporting inclusion and belonging initiatives
Requirements
- Law Degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Bar Membership in California or Idaho
- At least five (5) years of sophisticated commercial real estate transaction experience, including representation of retail tenants and/or landlords and developers on a wide range of matters, including acquisition, development, leasing and management of commercial properties
- A broad and in-depth knowledge of real estate legal concepts, laws, and a variety of deal structures and documentation, preferably in a retail context
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, well-developed drafting and negotiation skills, excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail
Qualifications
We Are Looking For Candidates Who Possess The Following:
- Law Degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Bar Membership in California or Idaho
