About the role

Responsibilities

• Conducts inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with environmental health and radiation safety regulations.
• Reviews and updates policies and procedures related to environmental health and radiation safety.
• Provides training and guidance to employees on environmental health and radiation safety practices.
• Responds to incidents and emergencies involving environmental health and radiation safety issues.
• Collaborates with other departments to develop and implement safety programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Radiation Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental health and radiation safety.
• Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Current certification in radiation safety preferred.
• Experience with radiation detection equipment.
• Experience with environmental monitoring equipment.

Skills

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

$80,000 - $90,000 annually
