Position Summary

Ensuring that all employees are trained in safety & maintain a safe work environment for employees by tracking Safety KPIs. Provide aid to any employees requiring safety assistance and communicate with corporate EHS team to find solutions. Maintain all EHS files onsite.

Essential Functions

  • Provide safety training for employees on policies, regulations, and procedures.
  • Advise the company's administrative team on safety issues and compliance in specific projects and operations.
  • Inspect and verify company compliance with relevant safety regulations.
  • Record any incidents, maintain OSHA 300 Log, and follow up with Travelers for any existing claims.
  • Ensure that all corporate safety KPIs are met monthly and satisfy corporate standard.
  • Conduct safety onboarding for new employees, ensuring that all new hire documentation is completed and filed.
  • Keep all safety files onsite organized and filed correctly.
  • Conduct daily/ monthly safety audits & track near misses.
  • Conduct safety investigations and ensure corrective actions.
  • Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes.
  • Maintain safety policies & Safety Data Sheets.
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned.

  • Innovative, problem solver, flexible, and able to juggle multiple priorities.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years' experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards
  • Computer skills- Word, Excel, PowerPoint- Required
  • Safety experience- Required

Travel Requirements

Occasional Travel for Training
