About the role
Responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conducts inspections to ensure compliance with environmental health and safety regulations.
- Develops and implements safety training programs for employees.
- Monitors workplace conditions to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborates with other departments to address environmental health and safety issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in environmental health and safety.
- Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with environmental monitoring equipment.
