About the role
Job details involve packaging and transporting waste safely according to federal, state, and local regulations. Duties also include completing paperwork, loading/unloading trucks, providing customer service, and planning routes.
Responsibilities
- Package and transport waste safely
- Complete required paperwork
- Load and secure materials
- Unload truck at various customer sites or Clean Earth locations
- Prepare and load truck with necessary supplies
- Provide high-level customer service
- Communicate issues to Manager or Dispatcher for resolution
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip checks on assigned truck
- Plan schedule/route based on customer needs
- Follow routing software route schedule
- Drive according to DOT guidelines
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- At least 21 years old
- English proficiency
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs
- Basic Windows-based software skills
- Willingness to wear company-provided PPE
- Valid Class B CDL
- Pass DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check
Qualifications
- Hazardous materials and OSHA regulations knowledge preferred
- Hazmat and tanker endorsements preferred
- Valid TWIC Card preferred

The position requires 2-4 overnight trips per week (Monday through Friday), with occasional Saturdays. A company card is provided for hotel expenses, and a daily stipend covers food and other expenses. The position requires a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License and passing a DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check.
