Environmental Driver Specialist CDLA
About the role
Veolia has acquired Clean Earth. As Clean Earth completes its integration into Veolia, recruiting and hiring for this role is being managed in partnership with the Clean Earth talent acquisition team. This position involves traveling to various locations to pack, transport, and dispose of waste material while adhering to environmentally responsible policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Pack, transport, and properly dispose of waste material according to company policies.
- Operate a variety of vehicles including vac trucks, combo vehicles, and roll-offs.
- Interact with customers and internal staff effectively, demonstrating fluency in English.
- Pass a DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement (candidates will be expected to obtain as a condition of employment after hire).
- Experience operating vac trucks, combo vehicles, and roll-offs is preferred.
- Fluency in English (verbal and written).

Pay
The pay range for this role is $30.00 - $32.00 per hour.
