About the role
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Crew Leader to supervise field crews and subcontractors on environmental construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and train crews as the Environmental Crew Leader on environmental job sites
- Operate heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, skid steers) and support field labor
- Execute demolition, grading, erosion control, stream/wetland restoration, and stormwater BMP work
- Enforce OSHA and company safety standards; conduct daily safety briefings
- Communicate with clients, inspectors, and project managers regarding project progress
- Complete daily reports, timekeeping, equipment logs, and material tracking
- Maintain job site organization, efficiency, and compliance with permits and regulations
Qualifications
- 2–3 years in environmental or civil construction
- 1+ year in crew leadership (Environmental Crew Leader experience preferred)
- Heavy equipment experience required
- Valid driver's license; DOT card and equipment certifications a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and environmental work plans
- Strong communication, organization, and safety-focused mindset

Working Conditions
