Essential Job Duties
- Assists ES attendants with daily assignments to include assigning critical tasks that affect patient care.
- Oversees the activities of the ES attendants working on their floors to insure all job assignments, tasks and responsibilities are completed consistently.
- Makes adjustments to staffing pattern as needed.
- Maintains cleanliness of patient areas and insures they maintain perpetual readiness for regulatory inspections.
- Interacts with patients, in a professional manner providing a customer service example for ES staff.
- Responds to patient and nursing requests immediately acting as liaison between nursing and ES attendants.
- Operates Spectralink phone efficiently.
- Ensures that all floors have adequate cleaning supplies.
- Generates all required computer reports and documents as needed.
- Supervises all ES staff and department activities in the absence of the ES Supervisor and management staff.
Education/Experience Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent certificate within one year of hire.
- Ability to read, follow oral and written instructions.
- A professional mannerism that would have positive outcomes on patients, visitors, staff and coworkers.
