Entry Writer / Import Operations Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Cook up air and ocean import shipments from arrival through final delivery
• Prepare shipment files and process ISF filings
• Cook up customs clearance with customs brokers
• Chat with carriers, trucking companies, warehouses, and customers
• Do billing and invoice processing in a timely manner
• Answer customer questions about import shipments and customs-related matters
• Keep shipment records and documents accurate and efficient

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in freight forwarding or import operations preferred
• Experience with air import and/or ocean import operations
• Knowledge of Customs Entry procedures, ISF, AMS, and import documentation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
