About the role
This position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, and requires relocation to the area. We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance.
Responsibilities
- Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users as well as our own staff.
- Act as the first point of contact for many staff and users, shaping their experience as they transition to Epic and helping them save lives.
- Own the training process from start to finish, including instructional design, development of training materials, and delivery of scenarios.
- Collaborate in tight-knit teams to design workflow-based training content.
- Work directly with organizations to help develop their training programs.
- Contribute to projects aimed at making Epic software more intuitive.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or greater (any major).
- Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
- History of academic and professional success.
- Willingness to travel 25–60% of working days, with a typical month including 1–2 trips lasting 2–4 days.
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
- COVID-19 vaccination required.
